Day 19/ Summary Dot calls connect faster, and changing the reasoning setting during a Codex or Work conversation no longer invalidates the cache. A Codex CLI update ships on the same day.

Day 19/ Summary The CLI follow-up lists reusable prompt presets, inline model and permission controls, and enterprise MCP sign-in. It also fixes long-session resume failures and adds authentication for Windows corporate proxies. Tibo reports that CLI usage has doubled since DevDay.

Day 18/ Decisions API is GA, OpenResponses joined the Linux Foundation, we shipped some performance improvements and Uber is going all-in on codex & work. But yes… that’s a reset!

第 16 天 / 内容摘要 API 支持保留 12 小时的提示缓存。对于登录使用 Codex 与 Work 的用户，Tibo 表示缓存会持续保留，回到旧对话或间隔数小时恢复任务时，仍能命中缓存，不再因此承担重新处理上下文的额外开销。
Day 16/ Summary Prompt caching in the API can last 12 hours. Tibo also says cached context is kept indefinitely for signed-in Codex and Work users, so returning to an older conversation or resuming after several hours can still hit the cache without an extra context-processing penalty.
